How it started

Who We Are

We are a team coming from diverse background

led by a Filipino-born citizen who spent most of his life in Reno, Nevada where he learnt and practiced the trade of Real Estate, coming back to the Philippines and staying here for good.

We started this page not only to provide realtors a platform where they could list their homes and properties for free but we are also creating a venue for others who are considering buying a home to have access to quality, honest and dynamic information of the city, location and property they wish to invest or move in.

Our aim is to provide a wonderful experience for potential buyers and investors to explore the provinces of the Philippines even remotely and enjoy the beauty that each city offers in a user-friendly setting.

Mission

Feel like a local.

By utilizing the skills and resources that are available to us we want to talk about local communities and the wonderful things they do.
We believe that Real Estate and local communities are intertwined.
We buy a house but we move into a neighborhood.

We will do it through consistent practice of our core values instead of trying to be more interesting than our peers, we will focus on being interested in our surroundings and the people around us.

Our Team

She’s the swiss army knife of the group. Perhaps it’s because of her past experience working in the E.R, Hannah is the ever calming presence in pretty much any type of situation. She has eyes on everyone and everything in the company, but because she leads by example and is kind, she has earned the respect of her colleagues; the type of leader you like to follow.

Hannah Gaston-Mariano

Lester accomplished quite a lot of creative work doing traditional and non-traditional advertising for DDB Philippines, working on accounts like McDonald’s Gatorade and Smart Communications. Before moving to the U.S., he also worked as an in-house creative guy for Resorts World Manila, a popular casino and high-end mall in Manila, where he managed a team of creatives and was responsible for creative quality control. A consummate artist, even when he isn’t working he likes to draw and sketch. He also helps non-profit organizations and churches with their promotional materials.

Lester Bustarde

Art & Design Director
Curious and fascinated with the inner workings of the internet, Raymond taught himself to code. By the time he started his formal training in computer programming, he was already working with web-based companies from Singapore and the U.S. building apps, online databases and managing websites that have tens of thousands of dollars in monthly revenue. His teamwork with his wife Arlen, has been an integral part of launching PhilRealEstate.com. He is also a gifted worship leader at his local church for more than a decade.

Raymond Serion

Lead Web Developer
Articulate and well-spoken, Arlen is naturally quiet and shy but when she speaks, people listen. Her research and writing about the local community has given out of towners a personal touch on how it feels to live in Bacolod-Negros. She always has a kind smile on her face that makes her such a fun travel buddy. She has been an active member of her local church, leading church and school administrative services for years. She loves to read, drink good coffee and stay up late at night reading old books and manga/novels.

Arlen Bernardez-Serion

As an undergraduate in University of Central Florida, Jason assisted a graduate student in this thesis, instead of processing satellite days manually he wrote a script that saved so much time it was used for several research projects. To help project field engineers with surprise conditions forcing unplanned decisions that could cost up to millions of dollars, Jason built a database to record the situations, the decisions and their outcomes to help the organization make better, quicker decisions in the future. The tool functioned on SQL queries. Jason happens to also be a fabulous salsa and bachata dancer. He is a memberof the Yamule Reno Dance team.

With a smile that can launch a thousand ships, but miss an important deadline and she will make it sink. Whether it’s planning for a momentous event or keeping everyone on track to meet an important deadline, Faye is your gal. Legend has it that at a surprise wedding proposal, Faye made the Titos and Titas dock and hide behind the trees for what felt like a lifetime to ensure the future bride’s surprise. But seriously, Faye is fun-loving, adventurous and likes visiting new restaurants and coffee shops. Just don’t miss the deadline.

Project Coordinator
Soft-spoken and ‘madiskarte’, Ate Jacky has assisted the Mariano family and helped manage their business since 1993 (Ethan was 9 years old). She is the quiet but effective operator who gets the job done. After working for the family for all those years, she was the first hire of Ethan to help establish PhilRealEstate.com. From processing business permits and paperworks to traversing the side streets of Divisoria, Ate Jacky is the ultimate guide. In her spare time, Ate Jacky likes to watch movies with close friends in MOA and shop in Uniqlo.

Jacky Guinto

Executive Assistant, Bookkeeper
A keen observer of pop culture and its ecosystem online, his sharp creative mind brings life to otherwise mundane subjects. He has a knack for seeing the wonderful in everyday things. He also helps in the group’s social media strategy and helps create and manage content on a weekly basis. He has a keen eye for capturing moments and people through the lens of the camera. He is “one of those people” who will invite you to re-watch his favorite movies with you, more than happy to pause the movie and explain a specific scene. Don’t be misled by his sometimes sarcastic humor, he has a heart of gold.

Creative Strategist
Mr. Duran. A man with a fire in his belly. In less than five years, TJ has turned into one of the best short video filmmakers in Visayas. His secret? His penchant for challenging himself to make first-class quality films. And his no-frills, can-do attitude in finishing the job at hand. 10,000 hours to achieve mastery, says Malcolm Gladwell. TJ is on his way.
